My Peer Mentor Project kick-off meeting
My Peer Mentor Project kick-off meeting was held in Ankara on 19th and 20th October 2017. Partner organizations from Turkey, Bulgaria-represented by Zgura-M and Romania attended this first transnational meeting and following main topics were addressed:
– Administrative and financial management
– Blended mobilities
– Internal quality management
– Youth peer mentors pedagogy framework
– Mobile youth peer mentoring application
Presentation of the Coach@Work project during a round table organized by the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy
The team of Zgura-M was invited as a guest speaker at a round table organized in Haskovo on July 18, 2017 because of its many years of experience and current projects on the topic. Petya Grudeva and Slaveyko Slavkov made a presentation on the topic: “The relationship between vocational education and training and social entrepreneurship.” The main part of the presentation was dedicated to the C @ W project and its results.
During the presentation, they highlighted the results achieved by the four Bulgarian partners in terms of introducing the model of supported employment in Bulgaria as a service provided on the free labor market. The training program for the qualification of supported employment counselors was presented in detail together with the prepared EQAVET units of learning outcomes. The importance and contribution of the supported employment model was also recognized by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Ms. Sultanka Petrova, who was among the special guest speakers at the event. She said that through supported employment, many people with disabilities will be able to recognize their strengths and be able to turn them into a competitive advantage over their future employers or business partners. Among the other official guests were the mayor of Haskovo and the deputy regional governor of Haskovo. The event was attended by more than 70 experts – social entrepreneurs, NGO representatives, public sector professionals, human resources managers, employers of people with disabilities and others.
Presentation of Coach @ Work during a round table on the issue of employment of people with disabilities
In April 2017, a Round Table was held in Sofia, during which the possibilities of the newly created platform were discussed, as well as the tools to support jobseekers with disabilities.
The work program included thematic presentations as well as the sharing of experience by an employer who has been employing people with hearing impairments in its retail outlets for many years.
Among the guest speakers were the representatives of Zgura-M, who presented the results achieved within the Coach @ Work project and the activities undertaken to implement the model of supported employment in Bulgaria.
Presentation of the Coach@Work project during the VI Fair of Social Economy Enterprises
In the period 30.03.2017 – 02.04.2017 in Plovdiv was held VI Fair of Social Economy Enterprises. The co-organizer of the fair was the National Federation of Employers of the Disabled, and Zgura-M participated with its stand during the 4 days of the exhibition. The program included thematic round tables in the field of social entrepreneurship and employment of people with disabilities, exhibitions of goods and services produced by people with disabilities, as well as fashion shows of clothing collections for children and adults also produced with the participation of workers with disabilities.
The Coach@Work project was actively presented during the 4 days of the exhibition through brochures and other information materials located at the stand of Zgura-M.
Kick-off meeting of SEYMM project
The kick-off meeting of SEYMM project was held in the lovely city of Izmir, Turkey on 31.01.2017. The host of the meeting was the SEYMM project’s coordinator EGE University. Within the two days meeting the partners among whom was Zgura-M, discussed on the planned project’s activities and decided on the best ways for their implementation. The meeting was conducted in a friendly atmosphere with effective contribution by all partners. Thus the partners put not only the solid base for effective commencement of the project, but this was the beginning of a fruitful collaboration based on mutual respect and positive attitudes.
H-CARE PRESENTED WITHIN THE HEALTHY AND WEALTHY FESTIVAL IN SOFIA
Zgura-M participated with its own stand in the Healthy and wealthy festival, which took place in South Park, Sofia on 11th and 12th of June, 2016. More than 95 companies, workshops and non-profit organizations showed their products and services during the two day festival. H-Care project was actively introduced in its stand (number 27), which was visited from more than 2300 people. The visitors had the opportunity to receive the project’s promotional materials and souvenirs, as well as to familiarize themselves with the project’s results during informal conversations with Zgura-M’s representatives.
One of the most entertaining moments was the organized tombola, in which the visitors received more than 500 presents from the exhibitors. The Zgura-M team gave more than 30 promotional souvenirs of the H-Care project to the winners.
During the festival many beneficial contacts were made both with companies and people who showed interest in retaining in the new profession and going through the training for Salesperson of assistive technologies and food supplements. In addition, a couple of partnerships with companies in the field of food supplements trade were made. They showed interest in adding Module 4 as a part of their internal company trainings. Very soon, the Zgura-M team will sign agreement for cooperation and exploitation of the H-Care project results with them.
H-CARE PROJECT PROMOTED WITHIN FAIR “WELCOME HEALTH”
The fair was held in two days on the 16th and 17th of April 2016 in Plovdiv. The team of “Zgura-M” had a special market place where H-CARE leaflets were displayed and information was given about the project to more than 800 visitors. The topic of the festival was promotion of health and constructive thinking for well-being. Among other exhibitors were representatives of companies trading with food supplements, healthy food producers, and companies promoting trainings for healthy life and positive thinking. This was a great opportunity to mainstream H-CARE achievements in front of community of special interests towards active citizenship and well-being.
H-CARE PROJECT PRESENTED WITHIN THE FIFTH INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF ENTERPRISES FROM SOCIAL ECONOMY
Zgura-M Company had the chance to promote H-CARE project within the Fifth International Fair of Enterprises from Social Economy held between the 31st of March and the 03rd of April 2016. We participated as exhibitor in a specially arranged stand which was situated in one of the most communicative locations in the International Fair of Plovdiv. H-CARE Project was presented by its leaflets and banner, as well as PowerPoint presentation was given on the 2nd of April 2016. The most useful part of the event was the face-to-face contact with professionals who provide career guidance to different people who are very interested to participate in H-CARE training programme. Thanks to our presence there we succeeded to extend the list of people involved as stakeholders in H-Care project.
COACH@WORK PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING IN PLOVDIV, BULGARIA
On 19-20 November, 2014, the kick-off meeting of COACH@WORK project took place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It was mutually hosted by the two Bulgarian partners based in the city, namely “Interprojects” Ltd. and the Coordinator “Zgura-M”.
The meeting started with introduction of all partners and continued with detailed presentation of project’s outputs. At the end of the first day all partners were aware of what is required in terms of their administrative and content roles. The second day was dedicated to discussion and planning of the project’s research phase. The session was carried out in the form of brainstorming where all partners generated ideas about the best ways to conduct the data collection process.
H–CARE KICK-OFF MEETING IN ISTANBUL
On 21-22 February 2014 in Istanbul, the kick-off meeting of the H-CARE project has been organised.
The meeting was started with the official speech by Mr. Muammer Yuldiz – the General Director of the Istanbul Educational Directorate who is also the legal representative of the H-CARE project.
During the meeting the partners among whom was Zgura-M got familiar with each other and they received a common understanding on the goals, activities and next steps of the development of the project.
